What I love most about custom pet portraits, is the care that goes into them. Of course you can take a picture and hang it on the wall, but there is something special in knowing an artist spent time with the animal you love so dearly. Paintings bring your pet to life in a way pictures often can't. My goal as the artist is to make a piece of art that will will warm your heart and make you smile each and every day.
Medium, process and
Price
I work primarily in oil paint. Oil paint takes a while to dry in between layers. The process is slower compared to other paints, but the results are worth the wait. Most paintings will take a month or two to complete. This time can vary based on size and complexity of the piece. The same goes for price. Smaller commissions start at around 500 EUR. This includes materials and shipping, excluding framing as not every customer is interested in a framed piece. Part of the piece will be payed up front and the rest at completion.
